The Business Development Manager will grow and develop the End Point Assessment market by generating sales opportunities, pitching services for End Point Assessment (EPA) and strategically managing business accounts with key clients.

Key Responsibilties: 

- Generate key accounts with large employers and training providers for EPA
- Develop a focused business development strategy for the growth of Health Care and Science and then other sectors as required by the business development strategy
- Strategically manage business accounts with key employers, colleges, private training providers, LEPs, local authorities and other education providers to ensure they receive a high quality of service from NOCN to meet their needs
- Quickly following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings as soon as a lead is generated
- Provide feedback and reports on progress to achieving your KPIs detailed in the sales strategy
- Planning and preparing presentations on end point assessment to sell our service to employers and FE providers
- Write monthly reports for the Group Deputy Managing Director and SLT on all activity and account management
- Proactively maximise new streams of income where possible
- Ensure up to date knowledge of NOCN’s portfolio of products and services in order to give accurate information and maximise sales income
- Prepare for, undertake and report on sales appointments with existing and potential clients

Key Requirements:

- Educated to Level 3 or above (A level/other appropriate qualifications)
- 3 years of selling experience (atleast)
- Recent experience of Account Management
- Experience of working in education or related discipline
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Advanced analytical abilities
- Ability to negotiate
- Ability to plan and organise workloads to meet deadlines
- Excellent team working skills
- Flexibility to working hours
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationally

Interviews will be held on 1st May 2019, in Sheffield.
